Kuusi is a private photo sharing app designed for small, trusted groups.

2. What we collect
We collect only the information needed to provide the service, including:
- Account information, such as your Apple ID identifier and email
- Profile details, such as your display name and preferences
- Content you upload, including photos and related metadata, such as the group, year, hashtags, upload size, and storage information
- Basic usage data needed to operate and improve the app
- Subscription status information, such as whether you have an active premium subscription
- Notification information, such as device tokens, device identifiers, device model, app version, and whether notifications are enabled
- Advertising and consent information, such as device information, available advertising identifiers, ad interactions, and your advertising consent choices where applicable
- Optional Google account information if you connect Google to import from Google Photos
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- provide the photo sharing service
- manage your account and groups
- store and display your content
- import photos you choose from Google Photos
- send photo, service, and announcement notifications
- improve reliability and security
- manage premium features and subscription access
- show, measure, and improve advertising
- manage advertising consent and privacy choices
4. Advertising
Kuusi uses Google AdMob to show ads to free users. Premium users do not see feed ads.
Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your device settings, your consent choices, your region, and whether you allow tracking when asked by iOS.
Personalized ads may use information such as your advertising identifier, app activity, device information, and ad interactions to show ads that may be more relevant to you.
Non-personalized ads are not based on your past behavior, but Google may still use limited information such as device identifiers, device information, and ad interactions for purposes such as frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregated ad reporting.
In regions where consent is required, Kuusi may show a Google consent form that lets you choose how advertising data is used. You can also manage available privacy options in the app where required.
You can also control tracking permission in iOS Settings.
5. Google Photos
You do not need a Google account to use Kuusi. Connecting Google is optional and is used only so you can choose photos from Google Photos to import into Kuusi.
Kuusi requests read-only access for the Google Photos Picker. We import only the photos you select. You can disconnect your Google account in the app.
6. Device permissions
Kuusi may ask for access to your photo library so you can upload photos, camera access so you can scan QR codes for group invites, and notification permission so we can send photo and service updates.
If you use Face ID or Touch ID to unlock Kuusi, biometric authentication is handled by iOS. Kuusi does not collect or store your biometric data.
7. Sharing
We do not sell your data.
Your content is only shared with people in your groups. We may use trusted service providers, such as Apple, Firebase, Google, and Google AdMob, to operate the service, manage subscriptions, provide authentication, store content, send notifications, show ads, and measure app performance.
These service providers process information according to their own privacy policies and our instructions where applicable.
8. Storage
Your data is stored securely and only for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and operate advertising and subscription features.

You can:
- access or update your information
- delete your content
- delete your account
- disconnect your optional Google account
- manage advertising consent choices where available
- change tracking permission in iOS Settings
